OnlyCats is the rescue community's operating system — a platform built by rescuers, for rescuers. We believe that the people saving cats' lives shouldn't have to fight their tools too. Scattered Facebook threads, paper health records, and endless group-chat coordination cost time that cats don't have.
We're building a single place where foster parents can track a cat's health, rescue orgs can coordinate their networks, transporters can find who needs a ride, and supporters can follow and fund the cats they care about — all without stitching together a dozen apps.

The creator

I'm a developer, photographer, and lifelong cat person based in LA. I studied Computer Science and Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley, then spent nearly two decades building products — from Apple and Garmin to CreativeLive and startups of my own. Outside of code, I shoot photography — portraits, street, and (of course) a lot of cats.
I've been deeply involved in rescue and fostering for the past five years, helping hundreds of cats and kittens find homes. I've worked with orgs like Best Friends Animal Society, Kitten Rescue, SEAACA, and several independent rescues across LA. At the peak of kitten season I had 16 kittens in my care at once — managing feeding schedules, medication, socialization, and a truly heroic amount of litter cleaning.
Through all of that I saw firsthand how fragmented the tools are for the people doing the hardest work in rescue — fosters tracking meds in notebooks, orgs coordinating across Facebook DMs, transporters scrolling through group posts to find who needs a ride. OnlyCats is my answer to all of that.
